Our evening specials menu is updated every two weeks and features fresh catches of the day, our butcher’s best selection and seasonal vegetarian options

Starters

 French Onion Soup
Homemade traditional French onion soup, served with a parmesan rostini. £5.75

V - Breaded Goats Cheese
Breaded goats cheese stuffed with beetroot and ginger chutney.  Served with Dorset leaves. £6.95

Lyme Bay Scallops
Pan-seared scallops presented with an apple and ginger puree, and accompanied by an apple salad.(GF) £9.50

Moules Marinieres
Fresh Teignmouth mussels, cooked until tender in a spiced tomato sauce. (GF) £7.95

  Wild Mushrooms and Avocado (Vegan)
An array of wild mushrooms flavoured with garlic and herbs.  Topped with avocado.  Accompanied by a red pepper coulis. (GF) £6.95

Whole Seabass
Whole Seabass, roasted on the bone with peppers, onions, tomatoes, olives, parsley and toasted pinenuts. (GF) £17.95 

Monkfish
Monkfish, cooked with a chorizo crust and served with spiced beans. (GF) £17.95

Cod Fillet
Cod fillet, oven roasted in a lemon butter and served with a cockle risotto. (GF)  £17.95

Halibut Supreme
Halibut supreme, pan-seared and oven roasted and served with a blood orange salad. (GF) £19.95

Club Steak
Locally supplied 14oz Clun steak 'on the bone', cooked to your liking and served with cafe du paris butter and roasted cherry tomatoes.  (GF) £19.95

Duck Breast
Pan-seared oven roasted duck breast, served pink with a sweet potato mash and a blueberry sauce. (GF) £16.95

Chicken Breast
Chicken Breast stuffed with chorizo and mozzarella.  Served with roasted baby onions, red peppers and courgettes.  Accompanied by dauphinoise potatoes.  £15.95 

Venison Stew
A rich and succulent game meat stew, served with plump and fluffy tarragon and juniper dumplings. £15.95

 

 

Vegetarian Mains

Vegan - Banana Blossom Fish and Chips -
Vegetable based fish alternative coated in crisp batter.  Served with thick cut chips, mushy peas and tartare sauce. £14.95

Vegan - Barley and Broccoli Risotto -
Delicious risotto alternative, accompanied by broccoli and flavoured with lemon and basil. (GF) £15.95
