• Starters •

Broccoli & Stilton Soup
Chef's homemade soup served with a warm, crusty bread roll. (V) (GF)

Smooth Chicken Liver Pate
Accompanied by Melba toast.(GF)

King Prawn Cocktail
Accompanied by granary bread. (GF)

Peppered Garlic Mushrooms
Served with granary bread (V) (GF)

Avocado Tian
Avocado layered with cucmber, tomato and roasted red peppers.  Seasoned with chilli flakes (GF) (Vegan)

• Main Courses •

All main courses are served with roast potatoes, new potatoes, three seasonal vegetables, honey roast parsnips and stuffing.

 

Roast Turkey Crown with all the trimmings
Boned & rolled English turkey breast, served with turkey gravy and pigs in blankets. (GF)

Roast Beef
Sliced English topside of beef, served with a rich beef gravy and a homemade Yorkshire pudding. (GF)

 Mushroom Wellington
Puff pastry parcel filled with open capped mushroom, caramelised onion and stilton cheese (or vegan alternative). (Vegan)

Pork Belly
Rolled with rosemary sausagemeat stuffing.  Served with a cider and thyme gravy. (GF)

Whole Seabass
Stuffed with Parsley, thyme and wedges of lemon.  Roasted 'on the bone'. (GF).

Christmas Pudding
Traditional Christmas fayre – a rich steamed fruit pudding served with brandy sauce. (V) (GF)

Lemon and Pistachio Meringue Roulade
Homemade lemon curd rolled with soft meringue and fresh cream. (V) (GF)

Chocolate Orange Cheesecake
Deep filled Chocolate cheesecake, with delicious orangy flavour (V) (Vegan)

Classic Creme Brulee
Served with a shortbread biscuit. (V) (GF)

Cheeseboard
A daily selection of cheeses, including Stilton, Brie and Cheddar, served with grapes and biscuits.(V) (GF)

Making Your Booking

Bookings can be made and enquiries answered by contacting The Galley Bistro (details above).  All bookings need to be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit of £5 per person, within seven days of making your reservation.

 

Cancellations must be made to the Galley Bistro at least 24 hours in advance of the booking to recieve a refund or have your booking re-scheduled.. 

 

All meals need to be pre-ordered at least five working days in advance of your booking.

 

Customers concerned about the presence of nuts, seeds and other allergens are strongly encouraged to ask for assistance when choosing their meals, and clearly state allergies when pre-ordering.
